AA Performance Products offers a high-quality piston and cylinder set, also known as pistons and liners, designed specifically for the Volkswagen Type-1 engine. This set features hypereutectic pistons paired with cast iron cylinders (or liners) that provide exceptional performance. The hypereutectic cast pistons are stronger than common cast aluminum pistons, making them suitable for stock replacement and certain performance engine combinations. However, it is important to note that these hypereutectic pistons are not recommended for high horsepower naturally aspirated, nitrous, supercharged, or turbo applications.   

Installation Note: This part requires machine work to be performed to the engine case and cylinder heads before installation.
