EMPI VW Transmission Mounting Kit, Early 2-Bolt, Solid Mount w/Straps

EMPI Type-1 2-bolt nose cone transmission mounting kit, thoughtfully engineered to swap out conventional rubber mounting bushings with sturdy solid-style mounts. This kit also replaces the lightweight stamped steel cradle mount, helping to eliminate any undesirable flexing. With this kit it takes the mounting process one step further by adding steel hold down straps to help secure the transmission to the frame horns further eliminating flex and the possibility of breaking a mount. The entire setup is coated with a resilient zinc plating, guaranteeing a long-lasting finish that withstands the rigors of time. Ideal for Off-Road, Drag Racing or Street use.

Installation Note: By solid mounting your transmission you will be increasing the noise levels transmitted to the passenger compartment if driven on the street.
