EMPI VW Spindles, Ball Joint, Disc Brake, 2.5in. Drop

EMPI cast drop spindles are brand new units, not re-manufactured old cores! CNC machined to exact tolerances. These spindles feature 1/4" outwards offset. Clearance is usually not an issue. These spindles are the first step to a brake system upgrade while giving you the built-in ability to lower your car approximately 2 1/2" just by bolting them on. These ball joint spindles utilize late model '69-'79 stock tie rod holes and wheel bearings. 

Installation Note: These spindles use a ball joint spindle point and require the use of late model wheel bearings for '69-'79 standard beetle. These spindles will widen the front track approximately 1/2' and this can cause fender clearance issues in some applications depending on the wheels used. Uses a standard Ghia caliper mounting pattern. Can not be used with disc brake backing plates.
