Technical Information:
Flat Camshaft: This is the early style 3 bolt flat faced camshaft that was used from '61-'71 on 13-1600cc engines. Flat camshafts are what is most common with aftermarket camshafts such as Engle Cams, Scat and Web Cam. When using these camshafts your engine must use a oil pump designed for a flat camshaft.
Dished Camshaft: This is the late style 4 bolt dished face camshaft that was used from '72-'79 on 1600cc engines.
