This brand new 12 Volt starter made by Bosch. This is a much smaller and lighter version of the old stock replacement for the Bug '67-'77, Super Beetle '71-'79, Ghia '67-'74, Bus '67-'75, Type 3 '67-'73 and Thing '73-'74. This starter is compatible with manual transmissions when using a 12 Volt, 200mm flywheel. This is a brand new starter, so there is no core charge required. 

Installation Note: To use this starter on vehicles earlier than 1967 the vehicle must have been converted to a 12V electrical system. Flywheel must be 200mm with 130 teeth and the starter bushing in the bell housing changed to a 12V starter bushing.
