This is a new 12V starter for manual transmission vehicles that requires the starter bushing in the bell housing on the transmission. 

Installation Note: To use this starter on vehicles earlier than 1967 the vehicle must have been converted to 12V and the starter bushing in the bell housing changed to a 12V starter bushing.   

Application Note: This is considered a universal part and can fit many different applications based on modifications to the vehicle.
