This is a "Cal-Look Style" or "Euro Style" window seal that does not have the groove for the molding trim around the window for that smooth Cal-Look appearance.  

Installation Note: This window rubber is designed without the molding grove and will not work for the "C-Style" window trim or the "T-Style" window trim.  

Application Note: This is used for the Windshield on Bug 53-57 and the Rear Window on Bug 72-77 and Super Beetle 72-77 Please verify your application before purchase to ensure this part is correct for your project.
