EMPI VW Axle, 26-11/16in Long, Chromoly, VW Bug 61-66
These heavy duty axles from EMPI are 26-11/16" Long and are made from 4340 chromoly for added strength. Perfect replacements for street and off-road use.
Application Note: This is a "Short Axle/Short Spline" and was originally used in Beetles from 61-66. This is considered a universal part and can fit many different applications based on modifications to the vehicle. Application information is just for reference and not applicable to a stock vehicle configuration. Please verify your application before purchase to ensure this part is correct for your project.
Installation Note: It is advised to use a torque wrench or torque tool to tighten the axle nut. DO NOT use an impact gun.
